Training Accreditation Services
(TAS)

WHAT

EMPI Awards Training Accreditation Services (TAS) provide an audit and accreditation process for clients' in-house training programs. The accreditation evaluates both the provider (Part A) and the courses they deliver (Part B), ensuring quality assurance, credibility, and compliance with industry standards. Accreditation covers aspects like company management, course development, delivery, and certification.

HOW

The accreditation process involves an on-site audit where EMPI evaluates the provider’s management, policies, resources, and course delivery. Course accreditation focuses on development (objectives, content, materials) and delivery (who, what, where, when, why, how). Once complete, a report is issued detailing the findings and outcomes, along with a certification fee structure based on course completion.

WHY

The TAS was developed to support companies in formalising and improving their in-house training programs. By ensuring that these programs meet industry standards, the accreditation gives clients the ability to deliver recognised, high-quality training that enhances credibility and boosts learner confidence. Additionally, it ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and provides a quality assurance framework for continuous improvement.

WHERE

The accreditation process is conducted at the client’s premises or training sites, ensuring the audits take place in the environment where the programs are delivered. EMPI auditors visit the sites to evaluate both the provider and the specific courses they offer, helping to ensure relevance and quality.

WHEN

Accreditation audits are conducted annually as a minimum, though they may be more frequent upon client request, changes to the program, or increased activity. The accreditation process takes one day, and both provider and course accreditation can be completed during the same visit. This flexibility allows for timely updates and maintenance of high standards.

WHO

Training providers seeking formal accreditation for their in-house programs are the target clients for this service. These include companies from a variety of industries that wish to improve the credibility and recognition of their internal training. The learners who complete accredited courses benefit from industry-recognised certification, which enhances employability and transferable skills.
